Robert was a pianist at St. Paul's A.M.E. Church in Lexington, and an organist at Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church in Kansas City, Missouri (1904-1929). He was a Music Professor at Western University (1903-1929) in Quindaro, Kansas, and Dean of Music at Western University in Kansas City, Kansas in 1909. Robert was married to Clara Marie Wallace (1880-1931), in Lawrence in 1903, and they divorced around 1912. She was a schoolteacher in Lawrence, KS in 1915. Robert and Clara had the following children: Robert married Antoinette, a Jackson Jubilee Singer in 1918. Antoinette died in 1930.
Edward William Jackson (1881-1948), was born in Lexington, KY and graduated from Chandler Normal School in 1899. He was a Rural Route Carrier in Lexington (1909-) for 30 years. Later he was a licenced mortician. He died and was buried in Lexington. Edward and Edmonia(??-1969) had one daughter, Ethelda.
Jessie Belle Powell (1885-1982) was the wife of Cornelius (1907-1908), and they had one daughter, Temperance Beatrice Jackson.
